SCULPTURES

T-REX BUST

This is a 1/4 scale model of a T-rex bust. It is inspired by the T-rex from the 1993 film Jurassic Park. When making this sculpture, I really wanted to focus on the fine details, and work on my texturing skills. Each individual scale was sculpted by hand. I painted the T-Rex with acrylic paints, and I wanted this sculpture to feel like a real, living, and breathing animal, rather than a movie monster.

VELOCIRAPTOR BUST

This is a 1/2 scale velociraptor bust that is designed to look like a stuffer deer wall mount. The bust is based on the the velociraptors from the 1993 film Jurassic Park. The bust was sculpted in clay, molded in silicone, casted in resin, and then hand painted using an airbrush. The eyes are hand painted ping pong balls with a clear casting resin over top.

Count Orlock Bust

This is a 1/2 scale bust of Count Orlock from the 2024 film Nosferatu. It was sculpted in a water based clay, molded in silicone and plaster, then casted in resin. The resin casting was then painted with an airbrush and acrylic paints using the film as reference.

RUBBER BATMAN COWL SCULPTURE

This Batman cowl was sculpted on my life cast. It was designed to be a fully urethan rubber mask. I took very heavy inspiration from the cowl worn by Robert Pattison in the 2022 film The Batman. I wanted the cowl to look like a stitched leather cowl that Batman could have sewn together himself. I wanted the sculpt to be intimidating, yet simple in its form and expression.

Dracula Bat-Creature

This sculpture/maquette is an original creature design inspired by Dracula in his bat form. I wanted the character to feel animalistic while still staying in touch with the human characteristics from other interpretations of Dracula. This maquette was sculpted in clay, molded with silicone, and cast in resin.

This Batman cowl was designed to be constructed into a fabric cowI. I was inspired by the Adam West Batman cowl which was made from a hard resin helmet with a fabric hood laid over it. The sculpt was inspired by the cowl made for the fan film Batman: Dead End. I also took inspiration from The Batman(2022) cowl which has a stitched leather look to it. I incorporated stitches into the sculpture so that when I glued the faux leather hood to the cowl, I could seamlessly blend the edge of the fabric into the sculpted the seems.

KINKY BOOT

This is a display sculpture carved for the show Kinky Boots at Red Mountain Theatre. It was carved in foam and attached to a steal base.
